UNPACKING, ASSEMBLY & SET UP
Caution: Follow all of the assembly & installation instructions completely before
connecting the tile saw to a power source or turning the motor on.
Carefully open the main box and the stand box and remove all the saw components and
packing materials. Be certain you have checked each item with the parts diagram before
discarding the container or packing materials.
1) Place water tray and machine frame/table assembly on a work table as shown in Fig.4A.
2) Mount the motor assembly (B) Fig.4B onto the machine frame post (A) Fig.4A. Slide the
motor assembly over the post until it bottoms out.
3) Secure the motor assembly to the frame post by placing a large hex. bolt (C) and
washer (D) Fig.4B into the top hole in the motor assembly.
4) Tighten the hex. bolt using the supplied wrench (E) Fig.4C.
INSTALLING/REMOVING 7" WET TYPE DIAMOND BLADE
To assemble the supplied blade to the motor arbor shaft;
1) First remove the blade lock nut (A) Fig.5 and outer flange (B).
2) Place blade on arbor shaft. Please note that the reversible flange (C) must be placed in
the correct direction to accept the blades' arbor size (5/8" or 7/8"). If the blade does not fit
over the reversible flange, pull the reversible flange off the arbor shaft, flip it around and
reposition it on arbor shaft.
3) Reposition the outer flange against the blade, make sure the flat of the flange lines up
with the flat of the arbor shaft.
4) Secure the blade in place using the lock nut. Blade tightening keys are
secure the lock nut. Place the closed end key around the lock nut and place the flat of the
other key into the flat tip of the arbor shaft to tighten.
