BRUSH/PAD-HOLDER/CYLINDRICAL BRUSH
DECK DISASSEMBLY/ASSEMBLY
On the machine it is possible to install/remove either the brush/
pad-holder deck (R, Fig. 2 - Page 9) or the cylindrical brush deck
(S, Fig. 2 - Page 9).
Disassembly
1.
Drive the machine on a level floor.
2.
Remove the brushes/pad-holders as shown on pages 13 and
15. Do not remove the cylindrical brushes.
3.
Lower the brush/pad-holder deck by pressing the pedal.
4.
If equipped, remove the cotter pins (B, Fig. 36) and the gas
spring (A).
5.
Disconnect the brush/pad-holder motor electrical connection
(D).
6.
Disconnect the solution hose union (E).
7.
Remove the screws (C), then remove the brush/pad-holder
deck (F).
Assembly
8.
Assemble the components in the reverse order of
disassembly, and pay particular attention to the following:
When the machine is equipped with the cylindrical brush
deck (S, Fig. 2 - Page 9), the gas spring (A, Fig. 36) must
not be installed.
