Control cam, final adjustment

Requirement
With the end of the thread guard 2 mm behind the middle of the bobbin case position-
finger 3, the clearance between the thread catcher point 4 and the thread guard 2 must
be approx. 4 mm as viewed in the direction of feed.

Bring the needle bar to its bdc by turning the handwheel.
Activate the magnet 1 core manually.
Continue turning the handwheel (direction of rotation) until the end of the thread guard 2
is 2 mm behind the middle of the bobbin case position-finger 3 as viewed in the direction
of feed.
In this position the position of the thread catcher point 4 must be in accordance with the
requirement.
If necessary, adjust the control cam accordingly (see cap. 11.05.01 Preadjusting the
control cam).
