Turn the main switch to on.
Turn the light switch to on position.
Turn the dimmer switch to low beam or high
beam.
Pass switch to push in.
Check for voltage (12 V) on the lead at bulb
socket connectors.
This circuit is not faulty.

2. If the meter light fails to come on.
1. Bulb and bulb socket
Refer to "CHECKING SWITCHES" section.
2. Voltage
Connect the pocket tester (DC20 V) to the
bulb socket coupler.
Tester (+) lead !
Blue terminal

Tester (–) lead !
2
Black terminal
Turn the main switch to on.
Turn the lights switch to on or pilot position.
Check the voltage (12 V) of the leads on the
bulb socket connector.
This circuit is not faulty.
