Warning: To avoid a safety hazard, do not use an unspecified AC adapter. Only

use the Health o meter Professional AC adapter model ADPT30 designed for this
scale.
Note: Use of AC adapter not available on 3001KL-AMC model.
6. Ensure all objects are removed from the scale's platform, and press the ON/OFF
button to power the scale on. The display will show "Start", then "0.0" KG.
Note: The scale is shipped from the factory locked in "KG" mode. Refer to the Unit of
Measurement (UOM) Configuration section for changing the scale's UOM on Page
13.
7. When the AC adapter is disconnected from the scale, the scale will switch to battery
power if batteries are installed.
Note: If the set up procedure failed, refer to the troubleshooting instructions. If the
problem is not corrected, refer to qualified service personnel.
8. The Quick Reference Guide can be hung from the handrail if desired.
10. The scale is now ready for use.
