The final step in the installation of the radio system is to set up control throws and test direction of motion.
The following diagram shows the recommended control throws.

Note: All control throws are measured at the widest point of the control surface.
Control throw reference diagram

Aileron Control Throw: 8mm each way.
} } } }
Elevator Control Throw: 10mm each way.
} } } }
Rudder Control Throw: 16mm each way.
} } } }
Take-off Flap Control Throw: 20mm.
} } } }
Landing Flap Control Throw: 30mm.
} } } }
This is also a good time to test all other systems such as the retractable landing gear and the power
system.
