Fresh air
ventilation
The
ventilation
system
of the
Volkswagen
is
based on
the
ram effect
of the
wind
when
vehicle
is in
motion.
The body
is
ventilated
even when
all
windows
are closed
because
the stale
air can
escape through
the
slots
behind
the
rear
side windows.
The
fresh air can
be
regulated with two rotary
knobs
and
two adjustable outlets:
Knobs
Turning
to
the
left:
admits air
Turning
to the
right
-
reduces air flow
The
fresh
air
is cut off
completely when the
knobs are turned
fully to the
right past
the
slight pressure
point.
Switch for two-speed
fan
The
fan
gives good ventilation when vehicle
is
stationary or
moving slowly.

runs
