The seats in the second row of your vehicle are equipped with the original Volkswagen seat belt apparatus. Should you require any instruction on the operation or maintenance of the seat belts, please refer to the base vehicle handbook. -

VOLKSWAGEN page 18 USER GUIDE Child Restraints Always comply with local or national regulations. In some countries, the use of child restraint systems is forbidden on certain seats. In accordance with European regulations, all children under the age of 12 or less than 150cm tall must travel in approved child seats suited to their weight, on seats fitted with a seat belt or ISOFIX anchors. - Page 19 VOLKSWAGEN page 19 USER GUIDE Fitting Universal Child Restraints When fitting a child restraint secured by the adult occupant seat belts ensure that the seat belt is correctly positioned around the child restraint in line with the instructions provided by the child restraint manufacturer. The child restraint should be held firmly on the vehicles seat by the belt, ideally in contact with the seat backrest.
