Function Keys
F1 - F4 Keys: Function keys which enable scrolling up and
down menus
Menus Key: To enter the application menus press the MENU
key from the READY prompt. Pressing the key again moves
to the next menu (if available)
Correction Keys: When entering numbers or letters, the
yellow CLEAR key deletes one character at a time, whilst
the red CANCEL key deletes the entire line (this key also
cancels transactions),
Confi rmation Key: The green ENTER key is used to confi rm anything that has
been typed into the card terminal.
Paper Feed Key: To test the feeding of the paper through the printer, press
and hold the CLEAR key.

4. How Your Terminal Connects to a GPRS Network

Your iWL251 terminal is equipped with a GPRS roaming SIM. The terminal will
use this SIM in order to pass credit / debit card transactions to Elavon for
authorisation. As a roaming SIM is included, the terminal will automatically
determine which of the following mobile networks are best suited for the most
reliable connection at the time.
O2
T-Mobile
Vodafone
Orange (EE)
The default network for the SIM card is O2 but the
terminal will automatically adjust this to one of the
other networks, should it be necessary.
You will know that your SIM has been successfully
inserted when the terminal display shows GPRS and a
network, at the top of the screen.
Your terminal is ready to conduct transactions once a
network is displayed e.g. (O2-UK); the battery is showing
a charge on screen (
