Description
Subwoofer
Before removing the subwoofer, follow these steps:
1.
Turn off the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.
3.
Disconnect all external devices from the computer.

Remove the battery (see

Remove the optical drive (see

Remove the bottom cover (see
Remove the subwoofer:
1.
Remove the three Phillips PM2.5×5.0 screw (1) that secures the subwoofer to the computer.
2.
Disconnect the subwoofer cable (2) from the system board.
3.
Remove the subwoofer (3).
Reverse this procedure to install the subwoofer.
