    INSTALLATION Your Stainless Lite unvented cylinder is automatic in normal use, but requires routine maintenance which is normally carried out at least annually along with the boiler service. The maintenance must be carried out by a suitably competent tradesperson who is qualified to work on unvented cylinders. The checks/work needed are listed in the maintenance part of these Instructions.

    The installer must also make his customer aware that periodic maintenance of the equipment is essential for safety. Maintenance periods will vary for many reasons. Gledhill Building Products Ltd recommend a maximum of 12 months to coincide with boiler maintenance.

    If the cold water pressure is too high, this would suggest that the Pressure Reducing Valve is at fault and the Gledhill approved replacement should be fitted. If the pressure is correct then the Relief Valve will require replacing with a Gledhill approved component.
