The ULT18 subwoofer is equipped with a variable low-pass filter
allowing you to dial in the best crossover point for your system.
1.
Set the low-pass filter fully clockwise. This will create an overlap
between your ULT18 and your full-range system's frequency response
2.
Play program music with a lot of bass in it through your full system.
3.
Experiment with the polarity switch on your ULT18 to see which
OUTPUT 1
position provides the best bass response. Leave the polarity switch
in the position that provided the loudest bass response. This means
OUTPUT 2
that your subwoofer is in phase with your full-range speaker.
