Time
Zone Increment/Decrement
Time z ne increment/decrement is provided to facili-
tate driving through time zones during the course of a
trip.
TZ-TZ+ 24HDST TZ
For example, when traveling from Detroit MI to
Chicago IL, you pass from Eastern Time to Central
Time. When you pass into the new time zone going
west, press the
TZ-
multifunction key. As seen in the
example below, the time is decreased by one hour for
Chicago time and the display updates from EST to CST.
When returning to Detroit, press the TZ+ multifunction
key to return to Eastern time.
