Handset locator

You can locate a misplaced handset by
paging it.

Base unit: Press MLOCATORN or
MHANDSET LOCATORN.
R All registered handsets beep for 1
minute.

To stop paging:
Base unit:
Press MLOCATORN or MHANDSET
LOCATORN.
Handset:
n KX-TGE260 series: page 3
Press MOFFN.

Press M N, then press MOFFN.
Using the Smart function key
You can also stop paging:
– KX-TGE260 series: press M
– KX-TGE270 series: press M
press MOFFN.

Cell locator

This feature allows you to locate a misplaced
cellular phone by pressing the MLOCATES
CELLN button on the base unit and calling
your cellular phone. You must assign your
cellular phone's phone number to the button
beforehand. Only 1 cellular phone number (24
digits max.) can be assigned.

Calling the misplaced cellular phone
Base unit: MLOCATES CELLN
R To stop calling:
– KX-TGE260 series: press MLOCATES
– KX-TGE270 series: press MZN.
Important:
R While the base unit is calling the cellular phone,
the outside line is used.
– KX-TGE260 series: Even if the cellular phone
– KX-TGE270 series: When the cellular phone

Charges may be incurred if the cellular phone

Intercom

Intercom calls can be made:
– between handsets
– between a handset and the base unit

R If you receive an outside call while talking
on the intercom, the interrupt tone sounds
