1 Operating Elements

1 Microphone cartridge
2 LC display: will indicate the battery status, the
chan nel group ( , , or ) and the channel (1 – 16)
during operation
3 Screw cap for the battery compartment
4 Button
for switching on/switching off the trans-
mitter and for activating/deactivating the muting
(muting = transmitter will transmit neither a radio
signal nor an audio signal)
Switching on
→ Press the button
The display will be illuminated in green: The illu-
mination will be extinguished after 10 seconds if
no button is pressed.
Activating/deactivating the muting
→ Press the button
After activating the muting, the display will be
illuminated in red. The illumination will start
flashing after 10 seconds.
After deactivating the muting, the illumination
will change to green. It will be extinguished after
10 seconds if no button is pressed.
Switching off
→ Keep the button pressed until

2 Important Notes

The transmitter is suitable for indoor use only. Pro-
tect it against dripping water and splash water, high
air humidity and heat (admissible ambient tempera-
ture range 0 – 40 °C).

Insert batteries of the same type only and always
replace the batteries completely.

Remove the batteries if the transmitter is not used
for a longer period (e. g. more than a week). Thus,
the transmitter will not be damaged in case of bat-
tery leakage.

For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth; never use
water or chemicals.

No guarantee claims for the transmitter and no lia-
bility for any resulting personal damage or material
damage will be accepted if the transmitter is used for
other purposes than originally intended, if it is not
correctly operated, or if it is not repaired in an expert
way.
Dead batteries or defective rechargeable batteries
do not belong in the household rubbish; always take
them to a special waste disposal (e. g. collection con-
tainer at your retailer).

3 Applications

The hand-held transmitter IN-64TH with dynamic
microphone cartridge is designed for operation with
the receiver IN-64R from JTS. The transmitter and the
receiver will create a wireless audio transmission
system operating in the UHF range of 790 – 814 MHz
with 64 preset transmission channels (divided into
4 channel groups). The transmission range will de -
pend on local conditions and may reach a maximum
of 100 m.
The REMOSET function of the system will allow
automatic frequency tuning between the transmitter
and the receiver.
3.1 Conformity and approval
Herewith, MONACOR INTERNATIONAL declare that
the unit IN-64TH is in accordance with the basic
requirements and the other relevant regulations of
the directive 1995/5/EC. The declaration of conformity
can be found in the Internet via the JTS home page
(www.jts-germany.de).
The unit may be operated in the following countries:
