(2) Checking the transmission delay time
① Click [Start]>[Program]>[Accessories]>[Command Prompt] on the monitoring PC.
② Enter [ping (IP address of AE-50)], and press the Enter button.
([ping -w 1000 192.168.1.211] is entered on the sample screen below.)
③ Check that the transmission delay time that appears on the screen is 1000 ms or below.
(The transmission delay time is "Maximum = 2 ms" on the sample screen below, which is normal.)
If [Request timed out] appears or the displayed transmission delay time exceeds 1000 ms, consult the
network administrator for how to decrease the number of gateway, router, layer 3 switch, or HUB or how to
change the network.
Note
● The IP address of the monitoring PC should not overlap any of the addresses that are assigned to the AE-200/AE-50.
● When connecting to an existing LAN system, which does not use a dedicated LAN, consult the network administrator to
obtain the permission to connect the monitoring PC and the temporary IP address for the PC.
