Adjusting the Registration
B Vertical line adjustment
If the vertical line of the picture is as shown by the dotted line in the
illustrations below, adjust it with the corresponding arrow key so that it is
perpendicular to the vertical line (bold line illustrated on the left).

Press the BOW key.
The CROSS HAIR pattern appears.
You can also change to the 9 × 9 HATCH pattern by pressing the
PATTERN key.

Adjust the distortion as illustrated below with the B and b keys.

Press the SKEW key.

Adjust the distortion as illustrated below with the B and b keys.

Repeat steps 1 to 4 until the red vertical line converges with the green
line.
Each time you press the BOW or SKEW key, the COARSE mode and
FINE mode are selected alternately, and you can use the two modes
appropriately. The adjustment data is stored for each mode separately.
While you hold down the arrow key in the FINE mode, "f" is
displayed around the adjustment position.

B :The upper and lower ends of the vertical line
curve towards the left while the center remains
unchanged.
b :The upper and lower ends of the vertical line
curve towards the right while the center remains
unchanged.
B :The vertical line rotates counter-clockwise,
rotating around the center.
b :The vertical line rotates clockwise, rotating around
the center.
0 Red KEY (keystone) and PIN (pincushion) adjustments
1 Adjust the trapezoidal and pincushion distortion at the top, bottom, right
end and left end of the screen separately so that the red lines converge with
the green lines.

Press the KEY key.
The HATCH pattern appears.

The projector enters the upper keystone adjustment mode (POSITION
No. 1) of the red signal.
When you press the POSITION + key, the adjustment position changes
in the numerical order 1 to 4 as illustrated on the left. The selected
position number appears at the upper right corner of the screen. When
you press the POSITION – key, the position number is selected in the
reverse order.

Adjust the distortion of the horizontal line at the top with the v and V
keys.
Only the red line moves.

Press the PIN key.
The projector enters the upper pincushion adjustment mode
(POSITION No. 1) of the red signal.
When you press the POSITION + key, the adjustment position changes
in the numerical order 1 to 4 as illustrated on the left. The selected
position number appears at the upper right corner of the screen. When
you press the POSITION – key, the position number is selected in the
reverse order.
V :The horizontal line rotates counter-clockwise,
rotating around the center.
v : The horizontal line rotates clockwise, rotating
around the center.
