Fine Adjustment for Each Input Signal
After the registration adjustment is performed without an input source and
the adjustment data is saved as the standard data, input an external signal
and fine adjust for each input signal.
Selecting the Input Signal

Input an external signal.
Input the signal to the INPUT A connectors of the projector, the
VIDEO connectors of the IFB-G90E Video Interfrace Board, or the
signal interface board installed to the INPUT B or INPUT C section.

Select the video input source by pressing the INPUT SELECT keys on
the remote commander.
Fine Magnetic Focus and AQP/DQP Adjustments

Press the PATTERN key to display the 9 × 9 DOT pattern.

If necessary, fine adjust the magnetic focus, AQP and DQP.
For details, see "Adjusting the green magnetic focus, AQP/DQP and AHP/
DHP" on page 87.

Press and release the MEMORY key to save the adjustment data.
Note
Do not hold down the MEMORY key in step 3.
Fine Registration Adjustment

Press the PATTERN key to display the CROSS HAIR pattern.

If necessary, fine adjust the registrations.
For details of the adjustment procedure, see "Adjusting the Registration" on
pages 93 to 120.

If two ore more input sources are connected, fine adjust the registration
for each input signal.

Press and release the MEMORY key to save the adjustment data.
Note
Do not hold down the MEMORY key in step 4.

Adjustments
SIZE Adjustment
Adjust the picture size if it does not fit the screen.
1
Press the RGB SIZE key.
(Use the RGB SIZE key even for the signal other than RGB.)

Adjust the picture size with the arrow keys.
V : The vertical size is expanded.
v : The vertical size is reduced.
b :The horizontal size is expanded.
B :The horizontal size is reduced.

To adjust precisely, press the RGB SIZE key again. The projector
enters the FINE adjustment mode, and you can fine adjust the size.
By pressing the RGB SIZE key again, the COARSE adjustment mode
is resumed.

Press the MEMORY key to save the adjustment data.
SHIFT Adjustment
If the picture needs to be shifted to fit the screen, adjust the position of the
picture.
1
Press the RGB SHIFT key.
(Use the RGB SHIFT key even for the signal other than RGB.)
2
Press the POSITION +/– keys to select the adjustable range of the
vertical shift (V SHIFT).
Note
When the video, S video, component or SDI 4:2:2 signal is input, V
SHIFT is automatically fixed to NARROW and the adjustable range
will become narrower than that of the RGB or HDTV signal.
