Troubleshooting

The following advice should help you to solve problems. If this does not help, you will find
useful information in the detailed FAQs on our website. Otherwise, please contact our
hotline (see page 3). Take note of the warranty instructions.
Problem
The device is not
working, the sensor
button
(3) is dark.
No sound.
No sound in Blue-
tooth mode.
No sound via cable
(AUX IN).
Playback is noisy.
The time is flashing.
Possible cause
No power supply.
The wrong source has been
selected.
The device is set to mute.
The volume is set to "0".
No Bluetooth connection.
MusicStation has not been
selected as the output
device.
Bluetooth connection
impaired by another radio
system (e.g. cordless tele-
phone, Wi-Fi).
Volume of the playback pro-
gram has been set to zero.
In general, the MusicStation
is a very low-noise system. In
most cases, the system with
very high resolution in the
high range area can expose
the poor quality of a signal
source (e.g. from MP3 files).
The time is not set.
Solution
Check to make sure that the
mains adapter is properly connect-
ed (see page 13).
Check the function of the socket
with another device.
Select the right source (see page
15).
Push the button
the volume.
Increase the volume.
Establish a connection (see page
27).
On your source device, select "Mu-
sicStation" as the output device.
Set up the MusicStation and/or
source device in another location.
Move to another room to test.
Carefully increase the volume on
the source device.
Ensure that the source is sending
a clear signal to the MusicStation
system.
Set the time (see page 17).
The display stops flashing.
