WARNING: To reduce the risk of personal injury, unplug the vacuum cleaner before
performing maintenance/ troubleshooting checks.
Problem
Possible Reason
1. Not properly plugged into electrical socket.
2. No electricity in the electrical outlet.
3. On/ Off switch not turned on.
Vacuum cleaner won't run
4. Motor thermostat tripped.
5. Blown fuse/ tripped breaker.
1. Full or cloged dirt container.
2. Wrong pile height setting.
3. Clogged nozzle.
4. Clogged dirt inlet.
Cleaner won't pick up/
loss of suction
5. Nozzle/hose or hose inlet is clogged.
6. Broken belt.
7. Hose not fully inserted
8. Dirty filters
Accessories won't pick up
1. Accessories not attached correctly.

Possible Solution
1. Plug unit in firmly.
2. Check fuse or breaker in home. Replace fuse/reset breaker.
3. Push On/ Off switch to on.
4. Switch off and unplug the vacuum cleaner. Leave for one
hour before switching the vacuum cleaner back on.
5. Reset house circuit breaker or replace fuse.
1. Clean dirt container.
2. Adjust brushbar height.
3. Remove obstruction.
4. Remove power head cover and remove obstruction.
5. Remove nozzle/hose and obstruction.
6. Replace belt
7. Push hose in securely
8. Clean/change filters.

1. Adjust brushbar height setting.
1. Replace belt.
2. Refer to Belt Changing and Brushbar Cleaning - Pg. 9.
1. Check attachment.
2. Remove obstruction.
