WARNING OTHERS

The dumper is fitted with a number of devices to warn
others nearby of impending danger from the machine.
HORN
The horn can be activated from either of two locations
by pressing the appropriate button (A) or (B). Once the
button is released the horn will stop.
BEACON
This is a flasher unit located on the top of the roll bar
and is activated by the switch (C).
REVERSING ALARM
This is activated automatically when reverse is selected
on the FNR lever.
SKIP PROP
Ensure that the dumper is parked in a straight
position on firm level ground in an area that it will
not cause an obstruction to others.
Apply the park brake and move the forward reverse
lever into the neutral position.
When the engine is running, fully raise the skip by
pulling the joystick back. Then stop the engine.
Either
Remove the R clip from the safety prop pin stored in
location (D) and fit it in position (E) refit the R clip
to secure the pin.
DONOT start the dumper. Push the joystick lever
forward and the skip will start to lower.
Allow the skip to come to a stop on the safety pin
Or
Remove the R clips & pins from the safety prop
stored in location (F) and fit the prop (H) around the
ram rod as shown. Insert pins (G) and fit R clips clip
to secure in position. Lower the skip gently until it
stops.
It is now safe to work the under the skip.
