AIR CLEANER SERVICING
The air cleaner needs serviced when the yellow level (A) comes into
the red (B) on the window on the visual indicator reads and 50 mbar
(C). This should be one of the daily machine checks.
Maximum protection for the engine against dust is possible only if the
air cleaner is serviced correctly. The only way to determine if an air
cleaner requires cleaning or replacing is to check the indicator.
When the air cleaner has been serviced press the yellow button on end
of indicator to reset the it.
Never run the engine with the filtration elements removed from
the air cleaner.
The filter elements will be damaged if it is washed or brushed out

Replace element when indicator reaches 50mbar
•
Never use a damaged filter element
•
Always ensure cleanliness when replacing elements
•
Squeeze the solids ejector to remove material from the
•
pre cleaner drop tube.
To service the air cleaner, first clean its surrounding area
•
and then rotate the end cover (D) and then pull away to
open the housing.
Remove the primary filter (E) by pulling it out from the
•
main filter body, this will expose the inner safety filter
(F). Either renew or clean these elements. Clean by using
compressed air to carefully blow dust out of the filter.
Reassemble by reversing the above procedures Replace
•
the service cover. The dust outlet should be at the bottom
of the air cleaner. DO NOT force cover onto air cleaner.
The cover should go on with no extra force. Rotate until it
clicks locked closed.
