Using Your Coffeemaker
to Brew Coffee
Brewing Coffee
1
Open the water tank lid and fill the water tank with potable water.
The water level should not exceed the MAX level marked in water
gauge. Then close the water tank lid.
Note: The appliance can make up to 12 x 5oz cups of coffee in a
brewing cycle.
2
Choose the CARAFE or single CUP coffee basket according to your
requirement, and then add coffee grounds into coffee basket. The
following table shows the recommended amount of coffee grounds to
use for a medium range of coffee strengths. When using the scoop
provided to measure coffee 8g is achieved with the coffee slightly
rounded.
Stronger or weaker coffee will be achieved by adding more or less
coffee grounds, according to your taste.

For best coffee taste and extraction across the range of volumes a
regular drip grind should be used. Finer grinds will produce stronger
coffee. Very fine and espresso grinds should not be used as these
could cause a blockage and incomplete brewing cycles. If there is
liquid remaining in the coffee basket at the end of the cycle then
the coffee used is too fine. Only use coffee grounds for one brewing
cycle.
Note: This appliance can be used with 62mm soft pods but we do
not recommend to use 2 pods together. If stronger coffee is required,
try selecting a heavier pod or stronger roast. Also, reduce the cup
volume setting and increase the strength selection to bold (3 bars)
or extra bold (4 bars).
