Making Espresso 1. Be sure that the selector knob is in the vertical, or stand-by, position. Plug the cord into a 120 volt, AC outlet. Press the On/Off switch to turn on the machine. Both lights will illuminate. Press the Steam/Espresso button to the Espresso position. -

Troubleshooting Problem: Coffee leaks from the filter holder Causes: Filter holder not correctly inserted. Filter holder not pushed in far enough. Internal gasket is dirty (clean gasket). Gasket has lost its elasticity (replace gasket). Coffee grounds not cleaned off of the edge of filter holder. Problem: Pump makes loud noise.
