    PRE-INSTALLATION INFORMATION LX Series Direct Vent Gas Fireplace The fireplace must be secured to the floor and/or to framing studs as shown in Figure 6. Use two (2) wood screws or masonry/ concrete screws to secure fireplace to the floor. Use four (4) screws to attach fireplace to framing.
