12.5 The drive unit

The complete drive unit is located in the
rear of the scooter and consists of the
following main components:
• the batteries(2)
• the drive motor with rear axle (3)
• the control unit (4)

12.6 The working principle

The drive consists of the drive motor, the
gearbox and the rear axle.
Drive takes place from the drive motor via
the gearbox and rear axle to the rear
wheels .
