Select the tone (p.16).
Additionally, set any other desired modes such as Dual Play (p.17) and Split (p.18)
(Note 3).

Press the [Rec] button to make the indicator lit.
The keyboard is put in record standby mode.
The [Play] button and Track buttonÕs indicators flash, as does the indicators on all the
[Track] buttons for the tracks being recorded to (Note 4).

When recording begins, the [Track] buttons are selected automatically.
If you wish to cancel the recording, press the [Rec] button again. (Its indicator goes out.)

If you want the metronome to sound while you are recording, press
the [Metronome] button.
Metronome sound is not recorded.

Press the [Play] button.
After two measures of a count sound, recording begins (Note 5).
Recording will also begin if you start playing the keyboard without pressing the [Play]
button. In this case, no count sound is played.
11.
Press the [Play] button once again, and recording stops.
At this point, what is recorded to the Track button is shown below.

Pressing the [Play] button again starts playback of the song with your
recorded performance.
NOTE
Selecting a different song, the following appears in the display.

If the buttons other than [Rec] button are pressed, display returus to previous screen.
Press the [Rec] button to erase the recorded data. Until you erase the recorded data,
you cannot select a different song.
