Try Recording

MEMO
Recorded material is erased when the keyboard is turned off. When you want to save songs you
have recorded, it is necessary to connect and record by an external sequencer, such as one in the
Roland MT Series, or a similar device. Please refer to ÒConnecting External DevicesÓ (p.49).

Recording with Songs

Try recording your performance and listening to it a number of times.
Recording the Right-Hand Part

1.
Before recording, adjust the tempo and set the metronome.

Press the [2] button; the buttonÕs indicator goes off.
The right-hand part is now set not to play.

For songs that include accompaniment, if the [R] buttonÕs indicator is off, press the
button to turn on the indicator.
3.
Press the [Rec] button to turn on the indicator.
The keyboard is put in record standby mode.
4.
Press the [2] button to make the indicator blink (Note 1).
The right-hand part is now set to be recorded to the [2] button.

If you want to cancel the recording, then press the [Rec] button once more to make the
indicator dark.
