Checking the Line Status

You can check the status of each line (up to 12 lines) on the display.
Checking the Line Status
[In standby mode]
1. Tap / a "Line Status"
2. Tap / : Select the line whose status you want to check.
3. Press /[CANCEL] to end checking the line status or tap the line to perform an action. See "Line
status indication" below for details.
[During a conversation]
1. Tap "Line Status".
2. Tap / : Select the line whose status you want to check.
3. Press /[CANCEL] to end checking the line status or tap the line to perform an action. See "Line
status indication" below for details.
Note
R When a function key is assigned as a Line Status key, you can press that function key to display the
line status screen. See "Line status indication" below for details.

A shared line is in use at another unit.
Action: join the call.
A shared line is on hold at another unit.
