Note
R During a conversation using a Bluetooth headset, the receiver volume can be adjusted using the
volume key on either the headset or the main unit.
R The connection status can be viewed on the status bar.
R Signals are transmitted between the unit and the Bluetooth headset using radio waves. For maximum
distance and noise free operation, it is recommended that the unit be situated away from electrical
appliances such as faxes, radios, personal computers, and microwaves.
R Privacy of communications may not be ensured when using the unit.

Basic Operation

Going off-hook
In this manual, when you see the phrase "off-hook", you can do any of the following:
R Lift the corded handset off its cradle.
R Press
/[SP-PHONE] while the corded handset is on its cradle. This enables hands-free mode.
R Press
/[HEADSET] when using a headset.
R Tap the corresponding function key to select a line.
*1 When a function key is assigned as a Line key or Line Status key, this feature is available.
Going on-hook
In this manual, when you see the phrase "on-hook", you can do any of the following:
R Replace the corded handset on its cradle.
R Press
/[SP-PHONE] when you are in hands-free mode.
R Press
/[HEADSET] when using a headset.
R Press
/[CANCEL].
R Tap "Off".
