Cleaning and maintenance

Before cleaning or servicing this unit, be sure to disconnect the unit from any electrical supply
outlet.
1. Please use damp cloth to clean the enclosure of the unit.
2. Do not wash the unit directly under a tap or using a hose.
Cleaning the Air Filter
If the air filter is clogged with dust/dirt, the air flow volume will reduce. Clean the filter once every
two weeks.
1)
Press ON/OFF button to turn off the air conditioner and pull the
plug out of the wall socket.
2)
Pull out the air filter in the direction of the arrow.
3)
Dust/Dirt clogged in the filter can be removed by vacuum clea-
ner. If filter is very dirty, wash it in lukewarm soapy water while
rubbing it gently with a brush. A mild detergent is recommen-
ded.
4)
Wipe the filter with a soft cloth soaked in water and dry it tho-
roughly in the shade.
5)
Replace the air filter as it was.
Before a long idle period
1)
Remove the drain plug and drain water completely.
2)
Set the fan going for a few hours to dry out the inside completely.
3)
Switch off the air conditioner and unplug it from the wall socket. Clean the filter and outer
surface.
4)
Reinstall the filter.
5)
Take out batteries from remote controller and store with air conditioner in a clean, dry area.
6)
Remove air exhaust hose and store with air conditioner in a clean, dry area.
Drainage method
1)
When the water full indicator lamp illuminates on the operation panel and " E0 " is shown on
the display, empty the drain tank.
2)
Always empty the drain tank before attempting to move or re-locate the unit to another loca-
tion.
3)
If the unit is not to be used for long periods of time, empty the drain tank.
Drainage method: you can drain the water out with a drain pipe, it is included in the accessory.
But first you should put the drain pan under the drain mouth, then take out the plug on the drain
mouth, and connect the drain pipe to the drain mouth, thus the water can flow into the drain pan
first and can not make the floor dirty.
