ENGINE OPERATION

1. Starting

In case engine starts in gear, do not
start cruising. Stop engine immediately
and consult an authorized dealer.
Note
The engine will not start unless
the switch lock has been properly
connected into the emergency stop
switch.

Do not operate the engine with gear
case out of water.
Severe personal injury, or engine
damage will result.
1 Loosen the air vent screw on the
tank cap.

2 Attach the fuel connector to the
engine connector.
The arrow mark on the primer bulb
should be facing the engine.

3 Feed fuel to the carburetor by
squeezing the primer bulb until it is
firm.
