Before You Call For Service

POSSIBLE CAUSE
Door not properly closed • Press door until it clicks shut.
Door is opened during
the cycle when the water
is hot
Child Lockout mode is
selected
Fuse is blown, or the
circuit breaker tripped
Power supply not
connected
Some of the sounds you
will hear are normal:
• Detergent cup opening.
• Water draining out of
the tub after touching
a keypad or starting
a cycle.
Utensils are not secure
in the rack or something
small has dropped into
the rack
Foreign material in the
sump
Dishes are blocking the
detergent cups
Disposer knock-out plug
has not been removed
Drain is clogged
Dishwasher
WHAT TO DO
• Relatch door. Wait a few minutes;
dishwasher will restart automatically after
the temperature stabilizes.
• Press and hold desired button for two
seconds to activate.
See Child Lockout Mode Section for
more details.
• Reset the circuit breaker.
• Replace fuse or reset circuit breaker.
Remove any other appliances from the
circuit.
• Check that the dishwasher is plugged in
and the switch is on.
• Make sure everything is secured in
dishwasher.
• Clean the filters/foreign objects cover.
• Reposition the dishes.
• Remove knock-out plug.
• Clean air gap (if applicable).
• If the dishwasher drains into a disposer,
run disposer to assure it's draining
properly.
• Check to see if your kitchen sink is
draining well. If not, you may need
a plumber.
