CONTROL PANEL

The control panel allows you to test your game controller and configure the Force
Feedback effects.
To ensure that your joystick's control panel has been properly installed:
1. Right-click on the Thrustmapper taskbar utility icon in the Windows taskbar. The
window directly opposite on this page will appear.
2. Click on Control Panel. The Gaming Options dialog box will appear. If the
joystick has been installed correctly, it will appear in the list of game controllers,
with OK status.
3. Click on Properties. Your joystick's control panel will appear. You should now
proceed to test your joystick.
The control panel consists of two tabs (for further information concerning the control
panel, please consult the on-line guide included with your Thrustmapper programming
software):

The Test Panel allows you to view the buttons and axes on your game controller (they
light up/become animated when you test them).
Your joystick's buttons. Press any of the buttons on your joystick to see the
corresponding button displayed on-screen.
Your joystick's axes. Move the joystick's handle or throttle to see the relevant
axis displayed on-screen.
The simulator displays the standard gauges which indicate the level of each axis.
The simulator window helps you to verify the configurations of your buttons,
joystick and throttle via the Thrustmapper programming software.
