Factory image

The ProLiant DL380 G5 Storage Servers are preconfigured at the factory for the operating system only.
Additional configuration is needed for the creation of data drives. Depending on the type of storage
server, storage configuration can involve local storage configuration using the HP Array Configuration
Utility, Adaptec Storage Manager, or SAN management tools.
Physical configuration
Each ProLiant DL380 G5 Storage Serverr comes with two hot-pluggable and hot-swappable HDDs
loaded with the operating system only. The drives are configured by default into two RAID 1 logical
disks at the controller level as shown in
