Auxiliary Brake Pedal
Pressing the auxiliary brake pedal
downward will apply the brake to the
rear wheels.

FUEL/VENT HOSES

Replace the fuel hoses every two years.
Damage from aging may not always be
visible. Do not bend or obstruct the
routing of the fuel tank vent hose.
LEVEL STICK (Engine
Oil)
There is a level stick for checking the
engine oil level. To check the oil level,
use the following procedure.
 NOTE: The ATV should be on
level ground when checking the
engine oil level.
1. Open the engine access cover; then
pull out the level stick and wipe it
with a clean cloth.
2. Install the level stick and push
completely into the tube.

3. Remove the level stick; the engine
oil level should be above the "L"
mark but not higher than the "F"
mark.

CAUTION
Do not overfill the engine with oil.
Always make sure the oil level is
above the "L" mark but not higher
than the "F" mark.
LEVEL STICK
(Transmission
Lubricant)
There is a level stick located under the
operator's seat for checking the trans-
mission lubricant level. To check the
transmission lubricant level, use the
following procedure.

 NOTE: The ATV should be on
level ground when checking the
transmission lubricant level.
1. Pull the level stick out of the tube
and wipe it with a clean cloth.
2. Install the level stick and push it
completely into the tube.
