5.18 Expansion Card Cage

The expansion card cage separates the expansion cards and I/O assembly from the
power supply and mechanism assembly. It also provides structural support for the
mechanism assembly and power supply.
To remove the expansion card cage, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the ArmadaStation for disassembly (Section 5.3).
2. Remove the alignment tray assembly (Section 5.4).
3. Remove the rear panel assembly (Section 5.5).
4. Remove the upper case assembly (Section 5.6).
5. Remove the I/O assembly (Section 5.9).
6. Remove the top brace (Section 5.10).
7. Disconnect and untuck the control panel cable from the backplane assembly (Section
5.13).
8. Remove the mechanism assembly (Section 5.15).
9. Remove the power supply (Section 5.16).
10. Remove the backplane assembly (Section 5.17).
11. Position the ArmadaStation so the left side is facing forward.
