Tray Lift
The tray sensor detects
when the tray is pushed in,
then the lift motor begins to
turn
The paper stack pushes up
the pick-up roller, and the
actuator moves into the
upper limit sensor. Tray lift
stops.
When paper is used up, the
actuator eventually moves
out of the sensor, and the
motor turns on again to lift
the stack slightly.
When the tray is removed,
the tray falls slowly (a
damper prevents a fast
drop)
If the tray is idle, the motor
lowers the tray until the
lower limit sensor detects it
