In the State of Massachusetts, the following installation instructions
apply:
•
Installations and repairs must be performed by a qualified or
licensed contractor, plumber, or gasfitter qualified or licensed by the
State of Massachusetts.
•
If using a ball valve, it shall be a T-handle type.
•
A flexible gas connector, when used, must not exceed 3 feet.
To reduce the risk of re, electric shock, or injury to persons when using
your appliance, follow the basic precautions, including the following:
NOTE: The dryer is designed in compliance with ANSI Z21.5.1 or ANSI/UL
2158 - CAN/CSA C22.2 No. 112-97 (latest editions) for HOME USE ONLY.
This dryer is not recommended for commercial application such as restau-
rants and beauty salons.

This appliance must be properly installed and located in accordance with
the installation instructions before it is used.
•
Use this appliance only for its intended purpose as described in this user
manual.
•
Do not use the dryer for commercial clothes drying.

GAS DRYER PRECAUTIONS

For your safety, the information in this manual must be followed to
minimize the risk of re or explosion or to prevent property damage,
personal injury or loss of life.
IMPORTANT: The gas installation must conform with local codes, or in
absence of local codes, with the National Fuel Gas Code, ANSI Z223.1/
NFPA 54, or the Natural Gas and Propane Installation Code, CSA B149.1.

Installation must be performed by a qualified or licensed contractor,
plumber, or gas fitter qualified or licensed by the state, province, or
region where this appliance is being installed.
•
Combustible materials, gasoline, and other flammable vapors and liquids
must not be stored near the dryer.
