    SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS IMPORTANT SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS WARNING: Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury. Save all warnings and instructions for future reference. The term “power tool” in the warnings refers to your corded power tool.
  • Page 4 e. Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control of the power tool in unexpected situations. f. Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts.
  • Page 5 Hold power tool by insulated gripping surfaces when performing an operation where the • cutting tool may contact hidden wiring or its own cord. Contact with a ″live″ wire will also make exposed metal parts of the power tool ″live″ and shock the operator. When ripping, always use a rip fence or straight edge guide.
  • Page 6 Check guard for proper closing before each use. Do not operate the saw if guard does • not move freely and enclose the blade instantly. Never clamp or tie the guard with the blade exposed. If saw is accidentally dropped, guard may be bent. Check to make sure that guard moves freely and does not touch the blade or any other part, in all angles and depths of cut.

  • Page 10 ASSEMBLY TO PREVENT SERIOUS INJURY FROM ACCIDENTAL OPERATION: Make sure that the Trigger is in the off position and unplug the tool from its electrical outlet before performing any procedure in this section. TO PREVENT SERIOUS INJURY FROM FLYING FRAGMENTS: Do not use blades made from high-speed steel, abrasive blades, or metal- or masonry-cutting blades.
  • Page 11 4. Remove the Blade. 5. Install the new blade over the Arbor Adaptor Plate. Make sure the Arbor Adapter Plate is properly seated on the Shaft. Guide the Saw Blade onto the pins of the Arbor Adaptor Plate. The Saw Blade teeth at the bottom of the Saw Blade should be pointing toward the front of the Saw.

    3. Route the power cord along a safe route to reach the work area without creating a tripping hazard or exposing the power cord to possible damage. The power cord must reach the work area with enough extra length to allow free movement while working. 4.
