When working on the printer, always unplug the printer from the wall outlet. High voltage is present in the power supply as long as it is plugged into the wall outlet.

4077-20X, 30X Base Assembly Removal 1. Remove the front cover. 2. Remove the rear cover. 3. Disconnect the power supply connector at the system board. 4. Remove the screw from the maintenance station assembly. Pull up the right side of the mid frame assembly and pull forward and remove the maintenance station assembly.
4077-20X, 30X Carrier Frame Assembly Removal 1. Remove the front cover. 2. Remove the rear cover. 3. Remove the base assembly. 4. Disconnect the paper feed motor connector from the system board. 5. Remove the four screws [A] securing the carrier frame to the left and right side frames and remove the carrier frame assembly.
