    Insert Leveling CLEARANCES TO COMBUSTIBLES At each front and rear corner of the insert is an adjustable leg provided Minimum Clearances to Combustibles to level the insert should the hearth of the fireplace be uneven.     Zero Clearance Fireplace Installation This appliance may be installed in a masonry or factory built/zero clear- ance (ZC) fireplace. When installing in a ZC fireplace, the ZC grate must be removed and the ZC damper must be removed or secured open. The ZC doors, screen, refractory or masonry lining, baffles and smoke shelf may be removed if necessary to install the gas insert.

    Intermittent/Standing Pilot Mode (On/Auto Pilot Mode Switch) This appliance can be switched from intermittent ignition to a standing pilot simply by using the remote to switch from IPI to CPI. This is done when the remote is in the off position. Press the mode key and use the up/down arrow key to change between IPI and CPI.

    TROUBLESHOOTING NOTE: When troubleshooting the gas control system, be sure the external gas shut off valve, located at the gas supply inlet is in the “ON” position. IMPORTANT: Call your gas supplier or plumber for additional help with any gas control problem. Valve system troubleshooting should only be accomplished by a qualified service technician.
