Programme/Type of washing
Delicate/Silk
For delicate, washable textiles, e.g.
made of silk, satin, synthetic fibres or
blended fabrics (e.g. silk blouses,

silk scarf).
For machine wash use detergent
suitable for delicates and/or silk.
W
Wool
Hand or machine-washable wool or
rich-wool textiles.
Especially gentle wash programme to
prevent shrinkage, longer programme
² pauses (textiles rest in wash liquor).
Wool is of animal origin, e.g.:
² angora, alpaca, lama, sheep.
For machine wash use detergent
suitable for wool.
Dark Wash
Dark textiles made of cotton and dark
easy-care textiles.
Wash textiles inside out.
Sportswear
Textiles made of microfibres for sport

and leisure time.
The laundry must not be treated

with fabric softener.
Before washing, remove all fabric
softener residue from detergent draw-
er (all dispensers).
The presettings of the pro-
grammes are highlighted in bold.
