Why yours inkjet doesn't printed on coated paper? As you can see on the photo, the printing on the left is on coated paper and on the right it's on uncoated paper.

The Memjet M1 inkjet printer may not print on coated paper because the industrial inks are designed to print on a wide variety of paper types, but only some coated stocks are supported. This suggests that not all coated papers are compatible with the ink or the printing system.
