SPECIAL
In Special menu, Camera ID, Color, Sync, Motion detection, Privacy, Mirror and Sharpness can be
programmed. The camera can also be Reset back to factory defaults.

Camera ID
Camera ID can be turned ON or OFF. When turned ON, the camera can be given a unique name. The
maximum length for the name display is 15 characters from English upper of lower case letters, numbers 0-9,
-, or a space. The camera
Color
The camera can be set to AUTO so that Day/Night electronically changes to the appropriate mode:
Daytime: COLOR mode
Nighttime: BW mode.
If set to ON, camera will always be in COLOR mode.
Sync
Synchronization is set to INT (internal) auto detection.
Motion Detection
Motion detection can be set ON or OFF. When ON, the AREA (4 programmable zones), and the SIZE of the
zones can be set. The words "MOTION DETECTED" appears on screen when movement is detected in the
defined zone(s).
Privacy
Privacy can be set ON or OFF. When ON, the AREA (4 programmable zones), the SIZE of the zones and
the TONE (shading of the zone) can be set.
Mirror
Mirror can be set ON or OFF. When set to ON, the image is reversed, as if being seen in a mirror.
Sharpness
Sharpness mode can be set ON or OFF. When set to ON, the available range is 0 - 31.
Reset
If Reset is selected, the camera returns to the factory default settings.
Return
Selecting Return saves the settings made in the SPECIAL menu and returns to the SETUP menu.
