OSD SET UP MENU
The menu structure below is for the VN-856 high-resolution color and VN-856DN day/night cameras. The
menu for the VN-856WDR follows. Use the buttons on the rear panel of the camera to access the Menu
system and the up/down and left/right buttons to navigate within the menu selections.

Select the type of the lens used on the camera. If DC is
selected, select brightness level (1-70). DC is default.
MANUAL: 1/60(50) ~ 1/120,000 sec; x2 -x128
ESC: Brightness level (1-70) (only available with Manual
Lens setting)
ATW: 1,800 ~ 10,500°K
MANUAL: RED/BLUE adjustable (0-256).
ATW is default.
Backlight compensation. OFF is default.
Brightness can be adjusted (1~70). LOW is default.
DNR does not operate when AGC is turned off.
LOW is default.
Adjusts sensitivity level. When AGC is turned
off, SENS-UP does not operate. AUTO is default.
Save all the settings and then exit
Maximum length for the name display is 15 letters.
English uppercase or lowercase letters, numerals 0~9, -,
null
OFF is default.
AUTO mode: Day/Night electronically changes to
the appropriate mode:
-Daytime: COLOR mode
-Night-time: BW mode
ON mode: Always COLOR mode
On is default for VN-856;
AUTO is default for VN-856DN.
Auto Detection
ON mode: AREA (4 programmable zones)/SIZE
"MOTION DETECTED" appears on the screen
when movement is detected. OFF is default.
ON mode: AREA (4 programmable zones)/SIZE/TONE
OFF is default
Set a horizontal image inversion. OFF is default
The available range of level is 0 ~ 31. ON is default
Returns to the level which was set by the
manufacturer for shipment
Saves the SPECIAL menu s e t t i n g s and then
returns to the SETUP menu
