Single Line Connect Message Enable
The single line connect message format can be enabled or disabled by
the \Vn command as follows:
AT\V0
X, W, and S95.
AT\V1
described below subject to the command settings V (Verbose) and Q (Quiet). In
Non-Verbose mode (V0), single line connect messages are disabled and a single
numeric result code is generated for CONNECT DTE.
When single line connect messages are enabled, there are no
CARRIER, PROTOCOL, or COMPRESSION messages apart from the fields
described below.
The single line connect message format is:
CONNECT <DTE
Speed></Modulation></Protocol></Compression></Line Speed>/<Voice and
Data>
Where:
"V
all other modulations.
"A
Protocol.
"L
compression.
protocol is NONE.
/rate:TX/rate:RX, e.g., /1200
as a single DCE rate, e.g., 14400.

audio/voice and data.

simultaneous voice and data.
AT+MS Commands
Connect messages are controlled by the command settings
Connect messages are displayed in the single line format
<DTE Speed = DTE speed, e.g., 57600.
Modulation
= "V.32"for V.32 or V.32bis modulations.
Protocol
"LAPM" for LAP-M protocol.
Compression = "CLASS5" for Microcom MNP5
"V
"V42BIS" for V.42bis compression.
Line Speed
Voice and Data = Blank for Data mode only.
"SVD" for AudioSpan analog simultaneous
"SVD" for G.729A or DigiTalk digital
Select Modulation
"V.34"* for V.34 modulations.
Note: Modulation is omitted for
= "NONE" for no protocol.
"ALT" for Microcom Network
Note: Compression is omitted if
= Asymmetric rates are displayed as
TX/75 RX.
