Description
Automatically dials the phone number you enter to
send a fax when the product detects a dial tone on
the line
Turns off automatic dial tone detection; this is
necessary if you connected your product to a phone
line on a Private Branch Exchange (PBX) or
Terminal Adapter (TA) system
Transmits faxes at 33.6 Kbps
Transmits faxes at 9.6 Kbps
Turns on Error Correction Mode (ECM) to
automatically request retransmission of faxes
received with detected errors (default setting)
Turns off Error Correction Mode (ECM)
Lets you change the line type for your product; PSTN
(default) is a standard phone line; PBX is used in
office environments where an access code such as
"9" must be dialed to call an outside line
Description
Select On to automatically erase sent or received fax
data remaining in your product's memory
Deletes all sent or received fax data remaining in your
product's memory; select Yes if you are giving away
or disposing of your product
