Tuning TV set to VCR
SHARP VCR's have their output set to channel 37 which is 590.25mhz. (the output frequency can vary but will be close
to 590 mhz). To tune into the video recorder output connect as shown in manual on page 23 (Examples of connections
2) . Remove the aerial plug from the TV set and plug it into the Antenna in socket on the VCR. Connect the RF cable
supplied with the VCR from the RF out socket on the VCR to the aerial socket on the TV set.
1 Turn on the VCR (most VCR's have a test output to assist in tuning the set in, see VCR manual for instructions). If
there is no test signal play a pre-recorded tape.
2 See page 8 for instructions on manual tuning. Press and hold the PRESET button for more than 2 seconds. Press
the PRESET button to go to the manual mode.
3 Select a channel that you want the VCR to playback on, for best results use 0, by pressing the CHANNEL UP
or DOWN BUTTON.
4 Press the VOLUME UP button if the frequency display is less than 590 mhz or the VOLUME DOWN button if
the frequency display is greater than 591 mhz. When tuning, the band indicator turns red. The tuning may stop,
(the band indicator turns green) on a off air broadcast, so press the VOLUME UP or DOWN button until the
frequency display indicates approximately 590mhz. the tuning will stop automatically when it detects the signal
from the VCR.

watch a video select channel 0 or the channel selected in step 3. Press play on the video.
NOTE :
