Preparations

Connecting the base phone
Connect the base phone to the telephone outlet and to an AC outlet.
Antenna
to an AC outlet
(AC 100V)
AC power adaptor
Cord hook
1 Connect the receiver to the base phone
and place it on the base phone.
2 Connect the telephone line cord to the
base phone and to a telephone outlet.
3 Connect the AC power adaptor to the DC
IN 9V jack and to an AC outlet (AC 100V).
4 Raise the antenna. Make sure it points
towards the ceiling.

Please read the following before you use the
phone.
This phone is ready to use "TokyoDenwa auto
connect.2", which automatically connects either
local or long-distance calls to TTNet that is
cheaper. There is no registration fee nor basic fees.
This feature is activated a few days after you have
connected the base phone. You only have to pay
the charges for the calls you make through
TokyoDenwa to the TTNet (NTT basic fees apply
as usual).

After you connect the AC power adaptor, the unit
starts initializing the built-in answering machine.
Wait for approximately 30 seconds until a beep is
heard.
Notes
• Insert the receiver cord and the telephone line cord until
the plugs snap in place.
• Do not bundle the telephone line cord or the AC power
adaptor cord. If you do, interference noise may be
heard.
